A Trust Deed is a deed of conveyance creating and setting out the conditions of a trust. The Trust Deed establishes and sets up the unit trust as a legal entity. It lays out the structure and functioning of the trust. It also identifies parties involved and assigns their duties. A Trust Deed will further specify restrictions on the trust’s investments as well as the rights of unitholders.
